PTI services

LORETO SERVICE provides PTI services for your vehicles through a specialized equipment authorized by the Romanian Auto Registry.

We perform PTI checks for:

- Cars;
- Car with maximum authorized total weight up to 3.5 t including: minibus, caravans, cars, vans, mixed, specialized, special;
- Cars with a maximum total authorized weight of over 3.5 t: buses, vans, special, specialized;
- Trailer and caravan without braking system;
- Trailer, semi-trailer and caravan with braking system and maximum authorized weight up to 3.5 t inclusive;
- Trailer and semi-trailer with braking system having a maximum authorized mass over 3.5 t (manufactured until 2000 inclusive).

Geometry check

Carrying out the geometry of the vehicle's wheels is one of the most important operations that any vehicle owner must perform periodically, in order to prevent the occurrence of unwanted road events or premature wear of some of the components of the steering and suspension system. This premature wear often leads to much higher costs than those involved in checking the geometry and correcting it.

Poor wheel geometry leads to:

- undesirable effects on the trajectory of the vehicle on the running surface;
- increased efforts of the driver to maintain the direction of the vehicle;
- rapid, premature and uneven tire wear;
- excessive fuel consumption;
- premature wear of parts that are part of the entire steering system, with direct implications for the safety of road users and involving appreciable costs;

For these reasons, it is recommended that, when changing an element of the steering system (connecting rod, bushing, pivot, bar end, etc.), or of the suspension system (shock absorber, spring) to perform the geometry of the wheels, to correct any deficiencies that occur with these changes. Also, when replacing tires, it is recommended to balance them and perform the geometry of the wheels, knowing that an unbalanced tire leads not only to its premature wear but also leads to wear of the elements of the steering and suspension system.

We perform geometry adjustments to the entire range of vehicles. The geometry checker has a complete database for all car brands and has a laser for translators.
